Yours has very low km's on it still though Morris! Now I hope you dont ever have problems with it, but wait till you hit 200,000 km's. Those are the "no problem" mileage stories I like hearing about!

I may never hit 200,000 before I trade it off.....We`ll see.

You should do what I would like to do, hit 1 million km's I figure if I keep painting it every few years, change the seats out when they get worn, replace the auto tranny a few times, i MIGHT be able to do er!

With 8-10 vehicles sitting around here hitting a mil kms and today`s fuel prices that would be quite hard......

The fuel prices will definatly slow me down abit too. But i got years and years of driving all my vehicles ahead of me, it can be done

good luck with that, but if there's an engine that could, it'd be the 7.3 diesel... in the same sentence, i looked at a purolator truck today with a 300/6 in it... 795000 on it and they just did a valvecover gasket... now there's a testimony!!

That is truely amazing. When you say they just did a valve cover gasket, was that the only thing done in its life?

Thats amazing for sure. One would think it would have needed something! Like fuel system or something!

Lets jsut hope he changes his oil once or twice in that many km's haha

If the Purolator truck had 795,000 kms on it I can guarantee that it has had regular oil changes and maintenance........

the depot here is pretty good with their maintenance. i've only seen one truck down for repairs and that was a 7.3l diesel cube van. cam position sensor i think. wasn't major.

They must keep up with their maintence pretty hardcore to see those kinda miles
