i know a painter who just traded his '06 FX4 for an '08 escape, his wife is the main driver and she wanted something smaller. they love it. the 3.0 has lots of zip, and even though it only has 600k on it, he says the fuel mileage is respectable!!

I think that's what we will end up getting this fall is a Escape. Cheaper that the Edge and just as good if not a little better on fuel. I'm waiting for the '09 Escape to come out, they are upping the 3.0l 30hp and it's getting a six speed auto! Should go pretty good!

The price of new vehicles is still crazy, but there seems to be lots of good deals on slightly used ones if you look around.

I always told myself I would buy one brand spanking new vehicle once in my life, but now Im thinking forget it. I have learned that by getting a good used one, you can research the problems of it, and you can really minimize possible future headaches by getting the right one.

it'll be quite lavish, but i have come across a few in the 51-54g range. take the F150Harley Davison for example, or the F150 limited... the average XLT package in a s'crew 4x4 s/box will run about 36-38...

Thats messed in the 50 grand range thats getting into super duty territory!

The one new superduty I priced out was just a hair under 60 grand, and that was for a pretty loaded lariat like what I have now.
