hey i bought a used f 350 but it has a 2 inch crack in the dash.is there anyway to fill in the crack or fix it at all?or do i have to replace the dash with a new dash?i dont want to cover it with a dash pad or cover i dont like the way those look..how much is a new dash or junk yard one and how hard are they to replace?any info will help thanks
first of all, what year is it?? i know they make stuff to "fill" and "fix" that kinda thing..not sure how well it works tho. as far as a new dash that greatly depends on what year you have, and trim package..ie XLT, lairet, ect..
Yeah, it can probably be fixed. We had a nice chunk missing/crack in the dash of the 75 Trans Am and we took the vehicle to a guy who was able to repair it so that it looks like new. Check the upholstery shops in your area.
OK, anyway, I have seen of the bondo thing before and it seems to work out pretty well. They key is eithe rmatching the color of the dash or a good repaint (which I suggest).
