Practicing for Thumper
I'm famous! I'm now starring in a video on YouTube, made last Saturday at Hollister Hills by a member of my Land Rover club as I bombed through the mud pit:

Yeah, I know, it's not a Ford...but Land Rover
was owned by Ford for a while, at least until it's recent sale to Tata of India...

More mud and 60 MPH - but a good start. With locked differentials steering would be more fun - you can't steer with the front wheels spinning.
But I expect you did better than my Jeep would have - I need more agressive tires and a lift kit if I am going to play with it!
Just think - we could have loaded your Rover into the back of Thumper and it would never have slowed him down - a new track record for a Rover.
And, just to keep things real, that pit looks like the driveway into my brother's farm for most of the spring!
But, Good Show, old top, Good Show!

Wow! You're famous!
Can I have your autograph? Preferably at the bottom of a certified check.

I am easy - the check does not need to be certified for me! You need my address?

Good show, even though it wasn't a Ford. At least like you said Ford owned them for a while. Nice Rover ... you know I want one. ;-)

First YouTube, then?................a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame?
You could be the next Frank Bullitt.
I see a sequel...........a movie..............called..........."Rover Dan".
However, you will have to drive your Rover, here in the city, jumping hills, at much higher speeds.
I see Oscar.
Yep! See if I can get a hold of Tarantino of Coppola.

No, Kevin's not in our group. We don't have anyone quite that dumb in there...
Although, I sorta feel for the little idiot. To do something like that and then get it plastered all over the 'net...gotta be embarassing!
