Well since I'm feeling pretty low about the theft of my F-350, I was driving around in my Ex today and the check engine light came on. I thought maybe I did something really wrong in a past life to deserve this kind of Karma. So I immediately went to my Ford dealer service rep and explained the situation, he said his diesel techs were really backed up, so he went back to the shop foreman, borrowed his laptop and scanned the Ex while it sat in the FastLane bay. Turns out it was the EGR valve, they had one in stock and the shop foreman replaced it himself while in the FastLane bay. 1 hr total time from when we drove in to when we drove out, and that's why I'd recommend Dunlop Ford in Lethbridge Alberta to anyone for service on their vehicles.
With forums usually filled negative stuff (especially when it comes to Ford service departments) it is refreshing to hear about experiences like this. Kudos to Lionfan for taking the time to give accolades! Sounds like you had every right to be bitter but instead was very positive.
