351c aussie heads

Hello all, quick question. I have a pair a 351c aussie heads and i want to run screw in studs and adj roller rockers. When the pedestals get milled, do they get milled straight across(flat) or do they get milled at an angle to match the stock angle of the pedestal?This is what my machinist told me. He mainly works on chevys, so he said he didnt know if you could mill the pedastals straight. Any help would be much appreaciated. This is my first rebuild. I'm just going off of what my machinest told me.

You have to mill them flat, because the screw-in studs and guide plates need a flat surface that's perpendicular to the stud. If you need a picture, just send me a message or email with your email address, or I could post it here, but it might take a couple of days.

The machinist need to mill 0.300" parallel to original surface then drill0.376"-0.372" DIA. X 0.88" deep. TAP-7.16" 14 UNC 2-B THD 0.68" DEEP CHAMFER- 0.469" DIA. X 60 degree.
