New here

Hello!

Was directed to this site after joining the main forum.

Don't know how much goes on in the chapter but I will trying to stay current with it as best I can.

My name is Kris, I live in Sheboygan and I finally got my Excursion to haul my track car.

Anyone have any good sources for parts? I am going to be looking for the COPs and plugs first off.

Have a great weekend!!

Welcome aboard Kris!

I'm sure you'll find the people in this chapter, and on the entire site, very helpful.

Up here, your track car must be either GN, LM or sprint, and either running at Manitowoc or Plymouth, correct? Could be a Mighty 4,too I guess.

Nice. Which series do you run with at Road America? We go out there for June Sprints and ChampCar every year. Awesome track!

Private club racing like Midwest F Body, Northwoods Shelby Club, etc. The MFB was this past weekend but my car is not out of storage yet. Thank goodness as Saturday was cold and wet on the track!

Once a year the club I belong to goes somewhere and has a convention. This year it is in Seattle which has us at the Pacific Raceways track.

Have a good one!

Kris

What Gen SHO do you have? I've had a Gen I and a Gen III. They were awesome cars back then but they must be dated now. The V8 Gen III was move comfortable on the hiway than the track but the '89 was a terror anyplace you went with it.

At present I have a Gen I and two Gen II's. They are '91 White Plus (track car) a Blue '92 MTX and a Red '93 ATX.

Never was much of a V8 fan but they are nice as well. The V6 Yamaha engines stand up better for HP and abuse!

The white one has 135k, blue one has 215k, and the red one has 168k.

They all run great!

Later,
Kris

this is Jen, right?

I thought you had already seen my track car. I am driving it now anyway. Can't wait to get it at Gingerman. I have not run there as of yet.

Later,
