What I did to the trucks today:
got a new truck to the fleet: 1991 Ford F250 4x4 super cab long bed 460 V8 E4OD 3.55 open D50 front. Some of the mods include Warn winch bumper with brush guard (mostly seen on 92-96s), steering stabilizer, decent 255 85 R16 tires mud terrains (one is different but that's ok), hitch receiver, tinted windows (which has to come out as it was done wrong), CB antenna on roof, 4x4 stickers, 2tone paint (I think the truck was originally pure white now it has white burgundy white) but the paint isn't the best it is doable though. Problems with the truck: needs an engine (taking out of the 89 f350 probably and putting the one in it in the 89 F350), needs exhaust (only the pipe off the manifolds is there with O2 sensor bungs going to probably do dual thrush tubes no cats), mud flaps need taken off, ripped seat (still usable) , steering wheel needs the XLT lariat stiching ripped off, broken windshield, has 3 of the same wheels one is just a stock one which is ok by me will get one at the junkyard), some smaller things but everything of the smaller stuff is there ready to be installed. It is my brothers truck since the 89 F350 is going to need more work then expected and this will get him on the road faster.
Also found another hole in the 89 F250s rear tank going to get another hopefully soon used.
Got the engine and brush guard for my 88 F150 over here got to get some parts for it and then going to install it (have to use my power steering pump alternator and have to get valve cover bolts and gasket as it was taken off (so we could see the valves but the bolts were lost but the engine was covered and looks like a great engine to deal with for now).

not today, but a this past Tuesday, drove the car and got a flat tyre, and wished I had taken the truck like I originally was planning, but hey it just reminded me that the truck is a much nicer truck to drive...made me love the truck more
also got the last 7 LEDs for my girl from carid.com so I hope to take this weekend and put them in (hop it will be warm enough...

Just took a look at my engine I just got. Just found out the damn plugs on one side have been out and I didn't notice that before. Been out a while too as there was some dirt caked on it. Hopefully I can still make the engine work. I sure hope this year gets better every time I turn around so far something is wrong.

Swapped the auto hubs for manual locking Mile Markers today. Lately, didn't seem like my '92 F150 was doing what it should in the snow. Then, reading up on hubs and finding out that manuals allowed for shifting on-the-fly, was a no-brainer I figured, whether the autos were working or not. Went in fairly quickly this afternoon. We've gotten 2 1/2' of snow since last weekend, so good to be sure I'm locked in. The Mile Markers were only $58 at Advance, after the coupon code.
Yesterday I removed the driveshaft from my 91 F150, took it uptown to a friend and he helped me install a new U joint in the rear. Today I installed new door hinge pins and bushings on the drivers door, works like a new one again. Yesterday it was 44 degrees out so I took my "good" truck (04 F250) into town with the drivehaft of the F150 in the bed. Only the second time this winter to have my diesel on the road. I washed her up before putting it away. Today we are in a blizzard again. I think this winter may never end!
