Last night I went down to the drag strip with Eric from IDP and another friend of mine with a 6.0 truck. Below if you can read them are the slips from my 2 runs. 14.2 both runs, 1.86 60' times. I've got a 4" magnaflow exhaust and SCT tuner with IDP tunes, running 35x12.50 tires, a crew cab short bed F250. I'm sure that the tires slow me down a little, but I was still happy with the 14.2 at 93 mph. It launches pretty hard, these were my first 4x4 boosted launches. My RT wasn't bad either. My truck number was 442, left lane on the first slip and right lane on the second slip. The slip on the right was actually my first run of the 2.
Thats awesome. What tune were you running? I have Eric's aggressive street tune, and just about the same setup as you so hopefully my truck is about the same...
The tune that I am running is the xtreme street tune that is intended for use in trucks without head studs. I do not have head studs. I'm not going to race regularly, nor am i intending to add power at this point. I'm more than content with this kind of performance, and do not want to push out the head gaskets or cook the tranny. I really just wanted to know what it would do. It was a fun time. I don't want to tear anything up, and know that pulling or racing will certainly up the odds of breaking parts. I typically run an economy tune, but it is nice to have a good power tune on reserve.
there was also a monster Dually Ford F350 with 6.0 there running big rig wheels and tires. WIth 8" lift and 41" tall tires (he said), SCT tuner and exhaust he ran a 15.5 on his first pass and a 17 when he broke traction on his second pass. He was running in 2 wheel drive (4 rear tires though) for fear of breaking his front axle for some reason due the big lift and axle length/angle.... I thought that was a pretty impressive number for such a big truck.
ALso a newer Dodge crewcab shortbed cummins was running 14.1 (not sure of his mods) and a couple older cummins dodges running various times ranging from 14.5 - 17.0. It was nice to see some big trucks out racing.

I have the exact same setup as you and run 14.2 also. Before the lift and
tires, my truck went 13.9s. Those were with Matt's old Aggressive Race tune. Not bad for a truck that weighs in at 7700lbs.
