Got most of the install done today.. All wiring is done and ready to mount the pod in the morning !!! Had to paint the stupid thing today so it slowed down the process ! On the Pyro there is 2 very thin wires...... I take it those have to be hooked up to power and ground to make that gauge work ??????
Not sure what you're askin ??? I've got my trans hooked up.. It works fine, had it up to 165 on my way home from the shop... Boost isn't hooked up yet because they sent a "T" that didn't come close to fitting into my MAP hose.. (picked that up on the way home) So tomorrow morning I have to hook up boost and the Pyro.. (all wires are ran) I was just wondering if you had to hook up the 2 thin (red & Blk) wires also to make it work... I'm pretty sure ya do... It just doesn't say anything about them in any instructions that I've read anywhere !!

The black one is ground and one is red has to be hooked a illumination source.
The black one is ground and one is red has to be hooked a illumination source.
Its not the illumination wires I'm talking about..... The illumination wires are a black and a white that go right to the bulb itself.... Then there is the yellow and red that go to the probe... And then there are a blk and a red that also go into the back of this gauge !!! Thats the ones that I'm talking about. They are autometer gauges !!
the red should go to a power source with the key on. The heavy red with black tracer under the steering column should be okay to tap into. You should hook all your red wirees together, all your black and grey wires together, and all the white wires together. Red = power source with key on, Black = Ground, White = illumination source.
A separate wire will be needed to send the tranny signal. (Which you seem to have covered)
Thanks Ryan... I think I've got it covered.. Just wanted to see if anyone could confirm my thoughts !! LOL !! Don't need to go fry something... you know how it is !!! Finish this in the am and do my CCV after that !!! 4" Procomp lift waiting to go in (on the kitchen floor) and 4" exhaust on its way (should be here in a day or 2) Leave town on the 20th for 7 weeks !!! LOL !! I'll have it all done before I go
I'm not yellin ... I'm very settled .... Had a great day working on the truck !!
