Smile new intake pipe

so i finally got around to making my own intake pipe from the filter to the turbo intake tube. it is 4" exhaust tubing left over from replacing my 4" with 5" MKO. i used the last section of pipe (MBRP kit so it was from back of muffler delete pipe to exhaust tip) and cut out a section with roughly a 45 degree bend. i cleaned the crap out of the inside with brake cleaner and rags, and with a little paint i think it turned out pretty good. the big zip tie is connected around the brake master cylinder to keep the pip off the intercooler tubing. now i need to touch up my other tubes and clean the engine bay.

That looks pretty good Kevin. I like all the painted tubing.

Have you considered this https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...got-bored.html
to kind of balance things out? Maybe that and one of Pete's covers.

i used dupli-color brake caliper paint from autozone. High Perf Caliper Paint

i plan on getting one of pete's covers, just haven't figured out what color or decal to get. i may get one of the stainless engine covers to replace the plastic stock one, but i'm not decided. thanks for compliments.

Reps sent. I think that and the cold air box are the only way to do the 6637 filter mod.

no it's a coolant filter. probably not necessary since i switched to the rotella elc, but i figure it can't hurt so i left it in.
