Oil Switch or Sensor
What is the difference when I want to replace it. I have a 88 5.0 with a oil gauge. I want to replace the sending unit to the gauge and they list a switch and a sensor. Thanks

Look on the engine block next to the oil filter. The switch is very small, the sensor is about three inches long by two inches in diameter. See my post "Fake oil pressure gauge" in the 1987-1996 Trucks and Vans forum for more details.
