I have a 2007 F-150 4X4 XLT with a 5.4L engine. It has 15,000 miles on it and I want to upgrade it a little. In October I put 305/70/17 Wrangler MTR's on it and kept the factory wheels. Now I want to do more to it. Obviously I was thinking about exhaust so what would yall recommend? I also read about cold air intakes and was thinking about that as well. Don't really know of much else to do. I don't want to put any exterior pieces on it, just mainly performance pieces. And although it seems trivial, anything that improves gas mileage. LOL.
I added an edge and volant CAI. I haven't seen a lot of improvement in fuel economy, but on a trip up north, I did get over 16 on the highway. Previously, I would only get 15, but then I'm usually driving 75-80mph. So, I'm a little better than before and the driveability is much better. Just being realistc, you won't see much difference in fuel economy in most after market products..
