It was a good game, or least the little bit I saw was. I am a Kansan, born and raised, but I never even been on the campus of KU let alone played Basket Ball for a school.
Seems to me in a game that goes to over time like that, both sides are good enough to win. One thing for sure is that those guys made a lot of $$$'s for the schools they attend.
Just hope folks keep control and don't go crazy and tear stuff up.
As a lifelong Carolina fan, I have always had a soft spot for Kansas. Our two programs have been linked together by competition and cooperation for over sixty years. It was hard for me to watch my Tarheels lose in the way they did Saturday night, but at least they lost to the eventual national champions. I hope this win and the support of the Carolina family will get some of the Kansas faithful to finally give coach Williams a break. He gave Kansas fifteen years of his heart and soul and he deserves to be remembered well by their fans. Again, congratulations Kansas Jayhawks 2008 National Champions !
