Unhappy 1990 f-350 7.3L IDI-power

hi there I have a 1990 Ford F-350 cube van that i have made inter a crew cab flatbed(dont laugh at me im still in high school and cant really afford a better truck) . As it is i get around 30 MPG which is fantastic because as i said i dont have a lot of money. I have read that it is about 180 horse stock, but i am always right to the mat going up hills and it really wont go above a 120km. I was just wondering if anyone as any idea on how to increase my power to say 200-250 without going below 20mpg and without a turbo because they cost more than my truck. Any suggestions about the engine or truck would be fantastic thanks a load.

Well, my experience with the old IDI I had was what you've got is just the way they are. If you're not gonna shell out for the turbo then don't do anything.

one guys $0.02

I was gunna put a better pipe on it right now it has a 2 inch stock, it is registed as a farm truck to i could take the catalytic converter off and i was thinking of stickin some 5 in stacks on it other than that i have no other problems I was happy to hear that the old owner used a fuel additive so i think the inj pump should be good.
