Researching New Exhaust A to Z, some questions have come up...

One of my Wish List items over the next year for the X is to replace the entire exhaust from block to tip. I have been eyeing the Headers that routinely appear on Ebay and am wondering what experiences those that have bought these have been?

Oddly enough, there seems to be 2 sets that routinely appear...

SET 1

And

SET 2

First question would be.... Why is one almost $80.00 more than the other? They look to be identical (Not to mention the astronomical shipping rate of one....)

The next step would be to pick up the large Y-pipe, then some piping and a new exhaust.....

I do not want the exhaust to become all rusted and so what are my options to ensure that it stays as new-looking as possible? Ceramic? Stainless steel? Pros / Cons?

Bare with me as this is my first time working with exhaust in general.

Cheers,

How loud do u want this to be? If your buildin your own full exhaust, id go with a flowmaster muffler.

A nice deeper sound would be nice, however i don't want it too loud. My main goal is to just that rusty old setup out of there and replaced with something "Clean". Some performance gains along the way is a bonus.

Nice sounds BTW !!!
