94 e150 engine removal

when i go to remove the engine will i have to remove the front of the van and shoul i remove the tranny as well ???

You will have to remove the grill, grill header, radiator, a/c condenser, fan shroud and the bumper. Its easy to leave the transmission in place and just slide the motor out the front. Put a jack under the transmission.
