stalling under braking
I've got an '85 302 EFI. When I disengage the clutch when braking, then engine occassionally stalls when dropping from highway engine speed back to idle. It never stalls unless I am braking. There are no codes, and the IAC/TPS seem fine. I cleaned both real well. There doesn't seem to be any wrong with the braking system either. Anything else to check?

While it's idling, disconnect the IAC. If the engine totally stalls out, turn the idle stop screw to open the throttle a little bit till the engine idles very slowly. Then plug the IAC back in and try it out.
