Crate Engines

Looking for a shop that does crate engines at a reasonable price. In fear of potential crucifiction, I will not say what type of engine I am looking for.

SBC 350......Dang it, did I say that with my outside voice......

I'd get it shipped Canadian Freight ways or Rainbow transport or Grimshaw trucking. I'll check them out. Do you have any personal experience with them?

if you are looking more of a performance engine then just a stock rebuild, try Pro-Stock in Edmonton.

they do lots of SBC crate engines and do very nice work. not the cheapest by any means, but probably one of the better quality products out there.

also check out your local GM/Chev dealer for crate engines. might be not too bad considering what you will be getting and a warranty on top of it.

Thanks Mike. The local dealer....that just slipped my mind. I'm currently getting a price quote from Year One for 400Hp crate with carb and ceramic coated headers. We will see how there price is.

I'll let you know what I find at the dealer as well.
