body flex and squeak
Im usually in the ranger board or the NJ chapter but im thinking of upgrading and getting a club cab f150
my question is wth the suicide doors on them do they start to squeak or vibrate after a while. If so i want to know what kind of a job it is to fix it or if it can be fixed
Also to those of you who have one is it comfortable enough to use this kind of truck with people int he back seatparticularly on rides of a couple of hours or more? I have two kids to put back there and one grandkid in a baby seat
Years back i had a van that all you could hear was the sliding door moving about with a constant squeak,

Mine is a '98 Super Cab, only 1 back door, and I don't notice any of the issues you mention and it has 165K miles on it.
With kids/grandkids back there the noise probably won't be from the doors!
If my wife hauls my 15 year old daughter and her friends around she takes my truck. Lots more room in there than the Mustang (I know, that's not saying much!)

No squeaks rattles or groans. Very solid. I had a gmc 3 dr a few years ago and it did a lot of squeaking and groaning. Take 1 for a test drive over some rough roads. Pot holes are easy to find this time of year. If you have the seat all the way back, legroom is tight. I am usually forward 1 notch but when we have passengers I move forward 1 more notch. I believe they are as solid as a ranger.

I have a 2000 F-150 extended cab and for the backseat to be comfortable the front seat needs to be completly forward. It's a tight fit for my 7 month old grandsons car seat back there. Also seat back in the rear sits straight up, which I don't think would be very comfortable for a several hour trip. It's great for storage i.e. groceries or hauling work stuff that you don't want to put in the bed. Also no rattles or squeaks though.

I have a 97 F-150 supercab with the 3rd door. No squeaks, rattles. I carry my three daughters in the back ranging from 16 - 21 years old and we travel more the a couple of hours when we go camping and they say that there is lots of room for them back there. They also tell me that the back seat is comfortable. Although I have been thinking to upgrade and get into a supercrew. by the way my truck has 277,000 km. with a 4.6.
