pinion flange question
i have a 8.8 with a pinion flange and was wondering if the flange will fit on a 9 inch that has a pinion yoke if not can i still use my original driveshaft with the 9 if i took off the piece that bolts up to the flange on the 8.8

the 9" has different splines than the 8.8, yes, just take the ujoint out of the flat yoke of the 8.8 and put in the 9" reg. yoke, just be sure that they are both the same size yoke.....should be 1310 i beleive
