I was really glad we had the chance to meet up with everyone at Lynx Lake. What a beautiful place. We hated to have to leave early, but both of us had a rough week. That deal with the Blazer really got to me. Vici had a long week at work. But I'm really glad we took the time to come spend time with everyone. We got home in good order. The Blazer ran real good. In fact it ran better than it ever has since we have owned it. We ran 75 MPH & we got 19.41 MPG. So that was a 2.41 MPG increase from the last run from Prescott to Kingman. I noticed that it wasn't working as hard on the hills on I-40. In fact it only kicked down about 4 times from Ash Fork to Kingman. That was a big improvement.
So I'm praying the bugs are worked out of it. Now that I know they installed a Used Engine I understand why I had problems. Anytime you swap out engines NEW or USED there is almost always some bugs to work out. We are praying we will get some trouble free driving now for awhile.
Mark, we would really appreciate a couple of pictures of our dog. I know you got some good ones. I'll PM you later, We're willing to pay for prints, or development cost or whatever. He is such a fun dog. That is the first time in 11 years that we have had him that anyone has got any goods pictures of him that we know of.
GREAT SEEING EVERYONE. WE BOTH ENJOYED EVERYONE. What a great group of people.
Bill, like your 66
Garbz, your 69 is real rare & nice.
Travis, you need to think about installing a real diesel in your FORD say like a CUMMINS. I know you will never regret it.

Definitely a good time, and nice to put faces with the names on here! Wish the weather would've been a bit warmer...but it was fun regardless. Thanks to the select few who showed up! And Craig....maybe someday my truck will be this DESTROKED: Cummins Conversions but only after the 7.3 dies....and that could be a long lonnnnnnng wait

It was Very nice meeting all of you and your signifacant others, We camped out at the lake last night and boy it was Freakin Cold!!! We could have brought some more Blankets with us, Ya no..... I am looking foward to the next Time we all can Meet up, Don't think I will bring one of my old trucks on a run that far again, the truck's just TOO DARN LOUD! Made it back on 1 tank of fuel. I never thought in a million years I would meet people on the internet in person & have so much in common & so much fun getting together. I can't wait to do it again.
Many of you know I'm moving back to Nevada at the end of May, but I'm going to continue my membership here in Arizona. I'm an honorary member of the Nevada Chapter so I'm sure I will get with the people from Las Vegas sometimes. But would come to another Arizona meet.
