HI and welcome aboard Eagle460. What is your Manitoba location?
No problem spending $$ on an engine, my 390 is mostly stock except for the 428 crankshalf which I already had, cost over $3,500 with all new internal parts and balancing.
Good stuff, why not join this chapter? While there have been some problems with the chapter join feature, hopefully it`s working so give it a try. This thread explains it ''Man/Sask chapter join requests'', link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...-requests.html
A good idea to change it to Winkler Manitoba instead of just Canada in the location field in your profile to give us a better idea of where your from.
We have a nice group of Manitoba members in this chapter.
Its no big deal really. Just a little visually challenged is all. I have daytime only, thirty km radius of home, corrective lens obviously and the 70 kph speed limit.
It means I have to be very, very careful because my corrected vision is only one third of normal. But it beats not having any license at all.
So far so good. I have had the full merits for many years now. I have to hire a driver to drive my one ton to the city. But I need the help at the farmers market anyway.
Wow man, that does kinda suck though. Mind if I ask, what is your vision problem? I have to wear glasses myself, was thinking of the eye surgery to get them fixed, any chance of that for yourself?
Astigmatism and myopia. Checked out the laser surgery a few years back, but I was not a good candidate. I think I will check again in hopes of technological advances.
