Ever See a Rhino Lined Paint Job?

I am curious what a rhino lined/linex/durabak paint job would look like on an 80-86. Anyone ever seen one? Here are some images I found on the web of other trucks -

There was an 80-86 F-150 at a local hotrod shop for a while that had a rhino-lined paint job. It was a teal/aqua color, didn't look too bad. I imagine it adds a bit of weight to the truck, and could be a little tedious to wash, but you never have to worry about scratches.

or rust! I think there'd be no turning back though. It'd be like sanding sandpaper with sandpaper.

H-Bomb - Please do! I am looking for alternatives to Maaco. What'd it cost you for materials? Did you roll it on?

It will still rust from the other side. You just won't see it until it's too late.

yea it would still rust... from the other side... but when it came all the way threw... it you would have a sheet of hard plastic over the rust holes.. that are the same shape as the truck was orriginally...

that'd be kinda hard to cut off that piece of the rhino to get it to where you cld mold yourself a new part.... guess it'd be possible though... *shrug*

I wouldn't do it. Looks cheesy, and I'll bet it's not cheap considering they charge about $300 just to do the inside of a bed.

Watching Barrett Jackson auction awhile back and someone had done it to a 23 C-roadster. Complete top to bottom and everything in-between.

I was curious as to what it would look like too, was going to do it to a jeep before but did a basic paintjob instead. Might be a good thing i never did it lol.

Question,

Colors are limited to BLACK, GREY, & WHITE from my checking. How do you color it to suit you liking? My guess would be adding tint to white. Any other ideas. I know my bed on my 86 F250 4x4 was sprayed a dark red to blend with the side color of the truck which is two tone white & almost maroon or dark red. I don't know what Ford called it, but you don't see too many with it. I see a lot of white with bright red in this era. I had it done several years ago & it was a color available at the time. Later I asked the guy that sprayed it & he said the colors were getting limited.
