Glowplug Remove/Replace Procedure Help

Ok..so I got the battery issue straightened out. (thanks for all those who replied) I've ordered the zd1 glowplugs for '86 6.9. turbo. There's three letters on the air cleaner ATS? or something, if that matters. If someone is feeling REALLY kind hearted... could you please list the steps for removing/replacing them including what has to come off and in what order. Now keep in mind, your talking to someone who is extremely limited in my knowledge of diesels but I catch on real quick. Please list the tools I'll need ... and any tips for a smooth change out would be greatly appreciated. oh and any opinions as to a anti seize that would be locally available would be nice. Thanks in advance guys...

blow off the top of the engine where the glow plugs are real good with compressed air.
then spray the glow plugs with PB Blaster or another good penetrating oil. (NOTE: wd40 IS NOT a penetrating oil.)

let them sit for a day, and spray them again.
using a 1/4 inch socket set and a combination wrench,(i think the size is 3/8's) remove the glow plugs.
just before you take the plugs out, blow the area off again with compressed air.

before you put the new plug in, put a dab of never-seize on the threads.

Anti-seize at local auto zone, advance, o'rileys, etc.

I didn't need penetrating oil, the heads are so oily/greasy they just came out. You get to 7/8 pretty easy, but one on them is a little tricky. I think its the 2 or 3 one on the drivers side. It was a tight squeeze.

1/5 on difficulty scale. 1/2-1 hour job, depending on distractions and lazy factor. LOL

Wonder which version of the ATS turbo you have?

I have the latest one 093, and the air cleaner box has to be removed to get to several of the drivers side glow plugs.
Also where the turbo sits, rear plug passenger side is a real pleasure to change.

Any chance you have a digital camera and can post a picture of the engine top in your gallery?

The 088 and 085 turbos did not sit over the passenger side glow plug as bad as the 093 does.
Not sure about the air cleaner box on the 085 or 088 either.
