Exclamation Quick ? Please help!

I am going to drain and replace transfercase fluid, I found the drain plug, but is the fill plug just up and to the right a little if looking at the back of the case? isnt marked, but same type of plug, I have a 99 Expy 5.4....please help!

Yes you are correct in the location and it is the same type of plug. Make sure to remove the fill plug before draining to make sure you can get it out to refill it before draining. It takes 2 quarts of fluid and is best filled with a pump that is screwed onto the bottle.

Its also a good idea to make sure the engine is warmed up. Definitely make sure you can remove the fill plug BEFORE you drain it.

All done! I think it holds less then 2 quarts right, the truck was about level and held about 1 and 3/4 of a quart, but thanks for the quick responce, the old oil was very dirty! and probably the first time changed, I actually used a tube type deal that scwewed ontop of the bottle and I could shove the bottle up between the body and the driveshaft, kind've a pain, maybe next time a pump would be better!
