It would go pretty good, not quite as good as a 5.0l mustang of the time but very close. I think they put out around 200hp. I remember taking a friend of mine for a ride shortly after I got it. I shifted into fifth at 100 miles/hour, he looked at me and said "you weren't in fifth yet" I said nope!!! It topped out around 130mph!!
One thing that surprised me with that turbo 4 banger is that I got great mileage on the highway. The very best it did was 47mpg cruising at 110kl. Drove from Langham(were I filled up) to Prince Albert and it cost me $6 to fill. Can't remember what gas was then, but a lot cheaper than today!!

It was a 5 speed, and had the 2.73 rear end in it, and I loved the rear end. Mind ya, I never got to really test a stang out with a lower geared rear end in it either.
