the 265s would be close...they are about 34 inch diameter and everyone can fit in 285/75/16 which is almost a 33...the 245 is almost as big as the 285s but too narrow in my mind. I am not familiar with 19.5 sizing, but i recommend you stay with 265s to 285s...is 265/65/19.5 avail?
this rickson truck wheel place is a classy place. looking forward to doing business with them, heres whyretty cool that you may have heard of me J
So, yes, you can run the 265/70R19.5s on your stock suspension 4X4, they may get close to the inner mud flap in the front wheel well but that is an easy fix (some guys heat them up to soften them and push them back a little to give more clearance). And, as I mentioned, I can’t deny the awesome looks of a 265 under your truck…it is of course a 34” + tall tire so your gear ratio will be reduced so if you do any really heavy towing you may not want to go that tall…as far as rim widths, I would suggest a 7.5” wide rim if you even think you may opt for a 265 now or in the future. Basically a 245 is fully approved to go on either rim width. You can see the Approved Rim Width chart on the bottom of each wheel and each tire page on our web site. These are not our “rules” but the commercial wheel & tire industry’s guidelines set by the Rim & Tire Association…so, the limiting factor of a 7.5” wide rim is that you cannot run a 225 tire on it and the limiting factor of a 6.75” wide rim is that you cannot run a 285 tire on it. I hope this makes sense! By the way, the 265/75R16 you run now is about 31.5” tall so it is roughly 3” shorter than the 265/70R19.5 – but the same overall width. The first number on the tires tells us the width, in these cases, it is in millimeters.
So, I will send you a quote, how about 2 quotes: one with the Michelin and if I may suggest, one with the Bridgestone M729? I am running the Bridgestones on my truck in the 245 size and they are outstanding tires in every respect. The Michelins are so incredibly expensive ($475 for the 265s!!!!) so unless you are a hardcore “Michelin man” I think you can get just as good quality tires without spending so much. We truly have weeded out brand names and tread patterns over the years that did not live up to our expectations in terms of tire wear/longevity so we feel pretty confident about the tires we choose to offer. (One exception is the Hankook brand as we have only been carrying them for a little over 2 years and we get mixed reviews on their wear).
I’ll send you the quotes for 265s but we can easily modify them as they are just quotes.
Thanks again! Call or e-mail if you have other questions.
Kind regards,
Heather Knutson

Nice to hear back from ya on this!
How many miles have you logged on your 19.5"s ? And how have they worn?
Do you tow at all? If so how have they performed with the added weight?
Is the ride much stiffer from the heavier tires?
What pressures have worked best for you?
I've really liked the ones I've seen on some one tons, folks claim to be getting a lot of miles out of em also.
PICTURES!!!!
Thanks! Like I said put tire and rims on and don't worry about them anymore! 34,000 still look new . I also did the door mod on here with the tubing..... Nice and quite in cab.
Of all the researching I've done on tire sizes, why is everyone talking bout a 19.5" rim, of all tire companies I've looked at none offer a 19.5 tire, and if you have roadside problems like sliced or blown tire and it needs replacing, good luck finding a readily available tire to replace it with. Just my 2 cents worth, Nunomad
