timed/vaccuum advance??

timed/vaccuum advance??
i'm a dummy once again, i didn't label the vaccuum lines when i took the 2150 off my '83. is there an idiot proof way to figure out if its timed advance or vaccuum advance when i put my new edlebrock on there??

say, another q while i have your attention, i can't get my intake manifold off... got all the bolts out, the manifold is loosened, but it won't lift off??

Look on the passenger side of the intake, about in the middle. If you have some little pipes there that went to the choke on the carb, they may be hanging down in the port on the head causing interference.
