A/C problem
He likes it cold in his truck and his biggest problem is that he likes to have his truck cooled down before he gets out there in the summer. Therefore, he had a remote start installed. So, he leaves the AC the way he wants it to start up the next day or whatever.
He sets it so it blows out max AC, AND, he turns on the RECIRCULATE option so that the AC doesn’t pull hot air from the outside, it just circulates and cools the inside air which makes it much colder.
HOWEVER, when he turns the truck off, the system also shuts down the RECIRCULATION option so when he starts it back up, it does NOT turn the RECIRCULATION back on.
He asked here last year and was told that the truck is NOT set to do that and he was satisfied that this is the way it was. He looked for way to circumvent this but nothing.
Some time later, one of his friends bought a very similar Limited but diesel and HIS unit if you leave the RECIRCULATION button ON, starts up with it ON.
What’s wrong?

That auto AC would have to come out if he wants the MAX AC to be on at start up.
Not sure why his buddies would stay on. Every Ford I've ever seen with the auto AC defaults to recirc OFF when restarted.
