6637 kwik filter
Just recently installed the kwik filter on my truck, so far it really seems as though my truck is working less to do the same that it did before. Also with the first tank of fuel I am getting 1.0 mpg better than I was before. The only thing I did was and the filter mod. Why cant Ford do something equivilant from the begenning?

Because ford needs to make things to protect the morons, so if they had a filter on top like ours you know some idiot would wash off the engine with a garden hose and get the filter all wet and then want to know what is wrong with his truck
So they make it inefficent by letting as little everything in as possible to protect the idiot. Its just like in your manual they say don't drive in 4hi or 4 lo on dry pavement. Which is only partially true, what they should say is don't make sharp turns on dry pavement in 4x4, but its easier to make a blanket rule so it protects the morons.
