I am wanting to get some guages and I have a couple of questions.
Where is the best (cheapest) to get guages?
Is the Trans temp really neccessary? I have a 6.0L transmission cooler so I don't think I really need to keep an eye on that, at least for now...
I would like to get a 3 pillar pod with pyro, boost 0-60psi, and trans temp...
I went with Isspro's from Diesel Manor. There are a lot of flavors out there and you'll get a lot of different responses. I would stay away from the Glowshifts, all the others seem to be on par with each other (Isspro, Dipricol, Autometer are the biggies).
Mine are Dipricols and I love them. Crisp numbers and lines. Got them from Diesel Power Products in Spokane. Also has a website. Good luck making up your mind. And yeah, I think a trans temp is a must do, even if you did have an Allison.
I have another question, I have the overboost annihalator where do I get the boost pressure from? If I put it in line with the O.A. will it not work properly since it is a pressure relief valve?
Wow how do you keep track of everything? Their all over the place.
What do you mean? volts on far left , boost on column, oil pressure on right side and fuel pressure where 4x4 switch would be.
all temps are under cubby. they are easy to monitor unless you are cross-eyed.
The DiProcol Optix are the best lookin gauges out there, i think. I Have a set in my work truck and one of my next "few" mods is going to be swapping out my Autometers for the Optix's

Tap into the long line before the boost gets to the OBA (between the spider and the MAP).
