turn signal

Hello im new to this site.
Have a strange electrival problem on my F250 1970
Have no turn signal at all hazard works.
when i press brake pedal and switch to left the left stop light shuts same for right.
If hazard flashes and i press the brake flashing stops.
Have power from directional flasher to switch in column when in center pos.
when switching to left or right results in no power.
Meassured the switch and i think it work.

Happy for some help

Welcome to FTE

I'm not electrical expert by any means, but here's what I do know.

There are two flashers behind the dash, one for the turn signals, one for the emergency flashers. When you step on the brake, the emergency flashers stop flashing.

Here are some part numbers for future reference.

Emergency Flasher: Motorcraft SF-552-B

Turn Signal Flasher: Motorcraft SF-323

Turn Signal Switch: D0TZ-13341-B ~ Fits late 1969, all 1970/72 F100/350's. ~ Still available from Ford.

Ford suggested retail price: $61.98 / ftepartsguy.com price: $44.93

Problem solved

It was a bad fuse (corroded) in the fuse box.
Cleaned the fuse and put it bak now everything works fine.
