I just put 35's on, and am looking for a dual stabilizer kit. i am looking at a kit by superlift for $172, free shipping from 4wheelparts. is there a difference in performance between the different styles? such as the rancho has the shocks stacked on top of each other and superlift has the two shocks side by side. what are you guys running?
from what I understand all of the dual stabilizer kits require at least 4 inchs of lift. but I think DR makes them and I think Fabtech also makes a kit
On a side note I'm running 34's and For some reason the previous owner of my truck has removed the stabilizer and center mounting bracket.
I have dual steering stabilizers...
Cheaper ones (rough country), but they work well and keep my big tires under control
With the stock ones my tires would wobble like crazy when I hit bumps or was offroad
you dont need any lift, these install with two brackets that connect to the front u bolts and a center bracket on the tie rod
You can see it installed here
And this is the kit
Oh and Richard_cranium I still have the stock one with the center mount...
I bought a set of dual steering stabilizers off a guy on ebay for $99. They are BDS suspension brand. They work really well and will work with factory suspension. No lift required. My truck used to grab the ruts in the highway and now I just cruise right over them.
I also have the Rough Country dual setup......I broke my last one, but it was a hit that would've broken just about any brand lol......I replaced it with the same thing, so that should tell ya that I'm satisified with it
