I use discount tires for all of my tire needs. Last fall I got a screw in my tire that could not be plugged went in and they had my tire in stock and had it mounted and balanced in about 15mins with no appointment made. I also bought the lifetime protection for ALL the tires for an extra 125.00 dollars which covers them if I ever get another nail or screw in them I don't have to pay nothing to get a new tire or get it repaired. You also get free lifetime balance and tire rotation when you buy tires from them.

In fact I just had my tires rotated and balanced two weeks ago, dropped it off walked over to Home Depot and within 10 minutes my truck was done, all for no cost.

I would not buy my tires from anywhere else, great customer service!

I also voted for the silent armor, that will be the next tire that goes on my truck.

I love my silent armour's very quiet and very good wet traction. I have had them for about 6,000-8,000 miles. I would buy them again if I needed tires.

Michelans all the way! Goodyear tires are good and very over priced, I've run them all and currently have Michelans on my Expy. Needless to say, I'll do them again.

I sell tires for a living(10.5 years now). If you want your best ride, longest life and best all season traction put the michelins on. The only advantage the Gdy's have is better offroad traction. But if you offroad consists of gravel and dirt roads I would do the michelins.

Wear like Iron? They throw sparks and break apart in chunks while going down the road? (kidding)

Haha, they do throw sparks but don't break apart! (jk)

Nah, their tread life is supposed to be really long though.

It's a great looking tire but the Goodyears I put on my Expedition were pretty quiet tires for ATs. The BFGs are pretty rough riding but I like the way it rides.

bfg at kos don't come in that size, closest size is 350 a tire.......and they wear too fast and are too loud.........I had a set on one of my trucks once and they weren't bad....but this truck never is going to see enough dirt to need them

Buy 2 Michelin's. and 2 Goodyear's, and let US know which one is better...Just a thought...The competition is too close for both brands in case you haven't noticed already...

Excellent choice....

The LTX M/S's were OEM on my '02 Econoline, and when I replaced them at 55k (before winter set in--there were still miles left in the old ones so I gave 'em to my broke brother for his pickup), I went with the LTX M/S's again.

I believe their rolling resistance is among the lowest for their class....meaning the highest potential gas mileage, which is something we all are forced to care about these days.

Here's to a lot of safe miles on the Michelins,
George
