Door Ajar Light on-need help

Lately I have been having some issues. My door ajar light stays on while driving sometimes as well as the dome light (like my doors are open) when I get going to around 15-20 MPH the dome light turns off but the door ajar light stays on. When I slow back down the dome light turns on again. This is becoming extremely annoying. I have tried to reshut all of my doors when I notice that it is on...very rarely does this fix the problem though. Has anyone else had problems with their doors not registering being shut? This does not happen all the time to me but every once and a while it does.

I've have the same problem with my 99 F350 CC DRW. Don't notice it much right now as the truck sits most days and I ride the motorcycle. Also have a problem with the keyless entry not working. Read something earlier about the issue and have a number to call when I get back home in May. 1-800-fordkey. Give it a try and let me know what they say.

Spray some lube (like WD-40) into your door latches. Open & close the doors a few times to work it in. I had the same problem and after doing this a year ago, it hasn't come back.

Like the above message says, spray some liberal amounts of WD-40 into your door latches
