The snow was probably getting to the VSS mounted on the top of the rear pumpkin. I had the OD light start blinking along with a constant ABS light,
no Tach and a speedometer jumping all over the dial. I would turn if off re-start and things would be fine. After putting up with this for a week I replaced the VSS and all is good now. Do a search for VSS or OD Blinking and you will get a lot of info.
