return line kit

I got my return line kit and it had 8 copper washers in it. I am assuming the washers are for the injector seats. Is this standard with return line kits?

The kits are largely intended for when the injectors are replaced, so that is why the washers come with, and yes, they do go under the injectors to seal the combustion chamber.

With my exsperience yes. Just like fellro86 said the kit was mostly intended for when the injectors are replaced. But its my understanding that buying the kit is the only way to get the caps, o-rings, and return lines which are more comonly replaced than the injectors. Im sure that someone out there sells individual parts for any of these but they are just not easily available in my area. So i just store the washers in case i ever need one. Luckilly, I havent had to replace an injector as of yet in my truck. Its just a convienient package similar to a complete set of gaskets, you pretty much end up with gaskets you dont need at that time so you just store them for later or discard them.
