how hard is it to swap a fuel injected 302 into a '79 ford, i have the right bell housing, and its a NP 235, do i need to change fly wheels, from the auto to the manual tranny? or can i use the fly wheel off the 300 inline 6 thats in there?
and what parts of the wireing harness need to be taken out of the old car to put in my truck?
any help appreiciated,

You can't use the six cylinder flywheel. You need a flywheel of the same year as the new engine for balance reasons. I would strip off the fuel injection and put a carb on it. Too much wiring and modification to the fuel tank for the fuel injection. That's the quick answer. You can swap the fuel injection in, but it's going to take alot of manuals, and research, and alot of wiring.

try painless wiring for a wiring harness for fuel injected fords ( really simple harness for use in hotrods) you'll need all the injection componets from the car, but you'll need a computer for a standard car/truck if your going to use your tranny. you'll also need a 302 flywheel as stated above, or the tailstock to fit your t-case to the automatic..
