My dad was in supply while in the military, and he was around alot of Blackhawks and Hueys. So he acquired some sound deadening from the choppers, this stuff worked awesome in the '57 with a 302 and open headers.

Yah, I wouldn't use on the floor for fear of popping the bubbles but thanks for the tips on gluing it.

If nothing else, the popping noise would entertain the young'ns for a little while?

Hey Guys,

Still deployed in Korea but I can still add my 2 cents here...i used the Multi-Purpose Heat and Sound Insulation from LMC Truck p# 48-2590....you can check out my pics and see how easy it was to install...also installed the Sound Control Mat P#48-2595....awesome combination!!!!
