Greenfield, used to drive through there twice a week when I lived in Burlington and my parents and friends were in Hartford. They ever do anything with that car museum? I can't wait to bring my son to the candle factory this fall. My favorite part is the train set. We went to old sturbridge village this past summer. I wanted to go to the factory but we were only there a week, and it was a busy week. I'll be working in Boston starting this August for 6 mos to a yr. so we'll have more time.
Dave...I assume that you're talking about the Yankee Candle Car Museum. That's been closed for a number of years...the previous owner of Yankee Candle sold to some New York investment firm...pocketed some 495 million dollars!!! The Yankee Candle Museum..."The Scenter of the Universe" as they call it is a great place for the family to visit. When you're up this way look me up...we can get together with some other members of the New England Chapter and party a little bit. My niece works for Yankee in HR...maybe I can get you some discount coupons for the store...generally 50% off anything they make.
Lots of great stuff in the Boston area...the Saawx...Battleship Cove in nearby Fall River...Museum of Science...The Aquarium...The Freedom Trail...Duck Boat Tours. I'm sure you'll find plenty to keep you and the family busy!!!
