I've been looking into this lately. What system are you guys running? I really can't put $4000 into a veggiestroke system, but I'm not giving up hope yet. I have been studying the fuel system in the manual and it looks like you could actually build a simple but effective system with the right pumps, filters and valves.
I use a homemade system that only costs a few hundred bucks, and have had great success. I have been using this system in a total of three 97 psd's, (one belongs to my dad) for about three years now, with wvo in one tank, and b100 in the other.
I have a plate heat exchanger ($100-150) spliced into the coolant and fuel lines, situated near the tank switch valve (underneath the truck). You'll need to use sae30r7 or sae30r9 for the fuel hose, lest they turn to mush... You'll also need to change the hoses on the fuel pump with the same. Use swedish clamps, because the others will chew up the hose. Last, greaseworks.org sells replacement high pressure hoses, and you'll need to install them, as well. I'll try to get some pics up soon so you guys can see.
As for the oil, the hardest part is getting the restaurant to give you just oil, without grease or washdown water.
Filter it to about 30 microns before you put it in the tank, and don't let it sit on your paint!
You can buy a system from Goldenfuelsystems.com and install yourself.
$2200 or abouts with a complete Nomad system. You can also get the other systems as well.
