how is the best way to redo my valve covers gasket. by that I mean how do we go about, with out dismantling the entire upper half of the engine?
also where is a good cheap site to buy radiators? I have a whole right on the middle of Mine =( could not believe it until I got sprayed this morning by it!
In order to replace the valve cover gaskets you will need to remove the upper intake manifold. Keep in mind that there is on bolt in the middle under the upper intake that is a torx. It is hard to get to. As for the radiator just go to oriely's, advance, or autozone and get one. They are about $150 but mine has a lifetime warranty. You can also find some on ebay, but I don't know much about them.
Most of the big chain auto parts stores will match the delivered price of anything you can find online. There is a lot to be said for being able to drive it back if it isn't right versus shipping it back.
When I got a new radiator, Rock Auto was cheapest i found. Advance Auto matched it with no problems.
Good Luck Frank
