1) At times when I come to a dead stop or when I take off from a dead stop I feel a little bump in the steering wheel. It does not do it at any other times except when I completely stop or start. I have checked all the driveline components and everything is in good shape, I cannot find anything loose at all anywhere. It is really annoying and would really like to figure this out.
2) Seems like my lockup converter is a little out of sorts. When it goes into high gear it will immediately lockup so you get like 2 shifts just bang bang in a row. Same thing when you down shift, press the gas a little to pass and it unlocks then down shifts right together. Also when cruising and you coast just a little then start the gas again you can feel it jump up a few hundred RPMs then grab and run right. Kind of like it slips a little each time. If you just feather the gas while cruising you can feel the trans go in and out.
Well any thoughts or ideas would be a great help, I have run out of things to look at.

That sounds like the slip joint in the driveshaft is sticking. They tend to do that when the grease wears thin. Regreasing it should fix it.

All of that sounds like a torque converter clutch that is working exactly how the Ford programming tells it to work. It's normal. It might not be what you like, but that's the way Ford designed it.
