351w Overheating Ignition Module?
When I returned to the open road, my motor started gasping and wheezing (it seemed like a clogged fuel filter). I hobbled along for about 2 miles, and the thing finally died. Temp guage was fine. Plenty of coolant. After about 5 minutes, I got it re-fired and drove a few hundred feet before it died again. I did this one more time and was able to coast to my destination.
Long story short, the next day(after not driving it for about 20 hours) it started right up, and it's run fine now for nearly a week without any indication that there was ever a problem! So, my question is this could the ignition module or computer itself overheated and started making the motor act squirrely? Was the If that's the case how should I remedy?
Thanks, and sorry for the long post!

cant say that will fix it, but that is by far the cheapest option! you can get a computer from the auto parts stores as well, but i would lean toward the other stuff first. also check your cap, rotor, plugs and wires. your truck might just be telling you it wants a tune up.
