if you are getting it used then i would say go for it, i got mine from ebay for 150 bucks shipped. if you are paying full price then get a tw or dptuner instead.

i have 2 friends that run superchips in their 03's. one runs the 1705 and the other runs the flashpaq. both are happy with them but the power is there to be unleashed with the better chip from tony or jody.

Can you post a link for the Flowmaster your recommending, I haven't found one from them that I'd like for a diesel truck. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you crazer and I'm looking at the superchips and maybe similar magnaflow since I don't need anything shiny on the truck, just need it to flow air well.

Id go with a Dp-tuner unless like coonhunter said, its a good deal for the superchips.

There is a completely different market out there for diesel trucks, as opposed to gassers. Flowmaster doesnt make anything worthwhile for a diesel. Take a look at this link, and then if you have any questions, do a search for them. The answers have been covered numerous times with lots of reading material. And then if youre still stuck, then come here and ask us, we will be happy to help. Thats how the 7.3 forum rolls.

Like i said, worthwhile. That's ridiculously priced for the same thing you can get several hundred cheaper.

They probably make a great throttle body spacer though.

so you all think that the dp tuner is a much better deal than the superchip, the thing that i liked about superchips is that you can chand all of the settings on the fly, and no need to install anything

With a flash tuner like Superchips, you CANNOT change on the fly.

Ouch, $782 for the Flow Master!

You could almost buy two of my exhaust systems with that.

How many different setting does superchips offer? 3? Dptuner offers 16 settings you can shif on the fly. I agree with Kris you cannot shift superchips on the fly.
