injector pump arm
89 f250 diesel wouldnt start got to looking there is fuel on the intake , a little dowel pin, and a clip, looking a little closer the arm on the injector pump is broke offand the feul is coming out the hole where the dowel come from can i just replace the broken arm replace the dowel or do i have to replace the i-pump

Is the arm on the drivers side of the pump? Sounds like the the timing advance arm is broken off and the pin came out. If that is the case, you will have to replace the IP. I wish you the best.

The arm is only retained in position by the pin holding it in the two small ears on the side of the IP....... are they what you say is broken. If it is the arm broken in two then you should be able to have a shop replace it..........
