2 or 4v carb

well as my name says i got a 280hp ranger and the power is from a built 302 i got a 2v on it now and was wanting to know if i could get more out of it with a 4v or not the little ranger is a daily driver tia

2 or 4v carb

Welcome to FTE. Why would you "build" a 302 and put a 2bbl carb on it? A small 4 bbl certainly would not hurt the situation at all.

well at the time money did not call for a 4v but i just had a edelbrock 750 gave to me witha a cast intake so that is why i ased the ?

see if you can sell that 750 and buy a 600-625, that 750 is a little on the large side.

thanks for the replies i just traded today for a 600 manual choke off of a 351w i do agree i thought that the 750 was to big but i got the 600 now and i will put in ot tommorw if i have time
