my carbon canister got a shower from the battery before i bought the truck, there is supposed to be a cap on one side and hoses connected to the other, the cap is gone, but the rest of the canister is good, is the cap a check valve-let air out not in, or just a cap?
sometimes my wipers dont start in low, but if you go to high then low they will work. I cleaned all the contacts on the wiper motor and on the switch. but still the same. is it the switch? autozone has the switch for $24, i think thats high. is there a way to rig up a switch for low and high?
after i cleaned the switch, it got harder to turn and now the wipers wont come on at the low setting, high they work, from high if i put them to low they sometimes work. i think the switch is gone.
What are the voltages that go to the motor at low and high?
My que about the carbon canister is still up for answering.
Tap on the wiper motor with the switch in the position that doesnt
work, and if the wipers move after you tap on it a while, then you know your wiper motor is bad.
