DCA 4 is available at most truck parts stores and equipment dealer.
NAP has a precharged coolant, Fleetcharge is the name.
There is another chemistry called NAPAcool, dexcool or penncool.
Whay you hav eto be aware of is the two chemistries are not compatable.
So which ever you choose, is the one you need to stay with.
Air filter is rather important, more so as fuel prices increase.
Fuel filter is just as important.
Grease everything that has zerks.
Check all the drive components for oil levels, changing them is not a bad idea either.
Batteries are critical, and the terminals should be maintained rather often.
Good batteries with clean terminals make starting easier and make the starter last longer.
The last item you need to check is the glow plugs.
Glow plugs also make starting easier and take a load off the starter.

The terminals on the starter are important, too. The expansion/contraction from the heat generated by all that current flowing through them can make them get loose over time. Found that out the hard way Thursday morning when I had some trouble getting it started and smoke was rolling out from under the hood. I thought I burned up the starter (although I didn't see how, because I wasn't cranking it for excessive amounts of time), but it just turned out to be a loose terminal from the solenoid to the starter. I tightened it down, but because of the heat damage (carbon scoring, mostly), I'll need to remove and clean it up some and smear some Vaseline or something on it.
